Letterpress Handmade Journal
The Letterpress Journal is a handcrafted book created using a traditional letterpress printing press, celebrating the beauty of fine materials and artisanal bookmaking.
The cover is constructed with Handmade Banana Tissue paper mounted to book board, creating a durable yet tactile surface. The endpapers feature handmade marbled paper, adding a unique touch to the interior of each journal.
Inside, the journal contains 160 pages of Mohawk Via Vellum i-Tone paper in Bright White, 80T, chosen for its smooth texture and excellent writing quality. The book is bound in eight signatures, each featuring its own letterpress-printed cover page, highlighting the craftsmanship found throughout the journal.
Each journal is bound entirely by hand using the buttonhole binding technique, a decorative and durable binding method that showcases the structure of the book while emphasizing its handmade character.
Measuring 6.5 × 9.5 inches, the Letterpress Journal is designed to be both functional and timeless—a carefully made object intended to be used, treasured, and kept for years to come.
